Singing in a choir sets you up for the week ahead

Is singing in a choir the perfect drug? Science seems to show how it can lower anxiety and depression as well as having many other neurochemical benefits. In the current, fast-paced world it can be really important to step off the treadmill both to recharge and gain alternative perspectives on life - so in the same way that coaching enables individuals to gain alternative perspectives, singing in a community choir comes with lots of added benefits for our lives in the round.

For me, rehearsing and performing with the amazing RockUp and Sing choir here in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, I'm definitely better set up for the working week ahead.
